Score Choice
Occidental College considers your highest section scores across all SAT test dates that you submit. Only your highest section scores will be considered as part of the final admissions decision. Each time you submit scores, Oxy will update your record with any new high scores.
We strongly encourage you to submit your scores each time you take the SAT.
Please note that test scores are only one piece of information we use to make our admission decisions. We do not base admission on one single factor and we take into account all aspects of a student's application in our decision-making process.
Find out more about Score Choice from the College Board.
