First-year and International Students
There are three ways to apply for admission at Occidental College. You can:
- Apply online --Coming Soon!! ( NOTE : On-line payment is required to submit this application^)
- Download the application . (PDF)*
- Use “The Common Application,” a standard form used by Occidental and more than 300 other U.S. colleges and universities. (The form also may be available at your school’s guidance office.) All students using the Common Application must also complete Occidental’s Supplemental Information Form, which is on page 25 of our application packet.
- International students must complete the Certification of Finances . International students who wish to apply for financial aid must also complete the International Student Aid Application.
As of Fall 2007, we are no longer sending printed copies of our application for admission. If you'd like one, just print the PDF version. If you do not have access to a printer, please contact us and we'll mail you a copy of the pdf.
^If you plan to submit the payment separately, or if you qualify for and plan to use a fee waiver from your counselor or the College Board, you will not be able to submit the Oxy on-line application electronically. To pay by mail or to use a qualifying fee waiver, we encourage you to either download our paper application or use the online Common Application.

- Request an application be sent to you by mail.

Graduate Students
- Visit the admission website for the Education department.
- Request a Biology application be sent to you by mail.
