Belle Wilber Thorne Hall, the College's main auditorium, was erected by Charles H. Thorne in memory of his wife. In addition to the auditorium, seating 792, the building provides a large stage, practice and rehearsal rooms for choral groups, and other facilities for the Music Department. The four-manual Skinner organ is the gift of Mrs. Euclid W. McBride '19 and her husband. Erected 1938. With funding from the James Irvine Foundation, the auditorium was completely remodeled in 1989.
