Your academic qualifications will matter the most in admission, but your art supplement can show us some of the other talents you’d bring to Oxy.
*Submissions must be uploaded via SlideRoom on the Common Application by each admission deadline.
Theater and music supplements will be evaluated by those respective departments. Visual art supplements will not be evaluated by faculty, but the Admission officers who read your file will view your prints when reviewing your application.
Guidelines for musicians: Vocalists and instrumentalists should present at least two works of contrasting style or historical period; composers should present recordings of two contrasting compositions; and jazz musicians should present a slow jazz ballad and an uptempo jazz standard.
Attention thespians! Note that the theater department hosts an annual workshop for prospective students who are high school seniors each fall. Be sure to contact them for more info.
