A Bite of Italy in the Middle of Hollywood
A good meal or an evening of fun can be found all in one small section of Hollywood
Now that I've joined the blog, the focus of my posts is going to be Los Angeles activities and good eats. Let the adventures begin!
Miceli’s Restaurant on Las Palmas is certainly a must eat place while you live in Los Angeles! There are now two Miceli’s, one is in Universal City and the other, original one, is in Hollywood. Since its opening in 1949 the restaurant has fed the Stars, from Julia Roberts to The Beatles. It’s the best of both the glitz of Hollywood and the home-style food and ambiance of Italy. The building is furnished with original pieces that truly get you into the Italiano mood. Right down to the red and white checkered tablecloth!
I personally recommend ordering one of their pastas over anything. However, I must say my favorite part is the delicious fresh baked rolls. Absolutely amazing!
If you are looking for a night out, the location is perfect for a variety of entertainment. The Ripley’s Believe it or Not Museum, the famous Pig 'N Whistle and a variety of interesting shops are located close by.
If the food at Miceli’s doesn’t satisfy your taste for adventure, a night down Las Palmas certainly will!
