Eagle Rock Italian Bakery

Our fabulous food finder emilyessie hones in on some tasty Italian treats, right around the corner.

If you are craving authentic Italian food, snacks, chocolates and desserts then Eagle Rock Italian Bakery and Deli  is the place for you.  You can easily walk or drive a few minutes down Colorado Boulevard , and the Italian Bakery will be on your right hand side. Although it may be hard to spot at first don't let that deter you from making the trip! As soon as you see the Taco Bell, the Bakery is right across the street.  Not only is the food delicious but the prices are  also extremely reasonable. Two sandwiches and two pastries cost about 12 dollars total.

This past week, a friend and I decided to go to the Italian Bakery for lunch. We had only ever been there to try the freshly baked cookies but now we were looking forward to trying their specialty lunch menu. My friend, Giovanna Bettoli was born and raised in Italy and I was curious to hear her opinion about the quality and authenticity of the sandwiches and pastries in the bakery. After one bite, of her Prosciutto Cotto and Fresh Mozzarella sandwich it was clear that she approved wholeheartedly.  I ordered a Tomatoes and Fresh Mozzarella Sandwich which was just as delectable. I highly recommend trying any of the sandwiches from the Bakery. We ended our wonderful meal with a traditional mouthwatering Italian Cannolo! If you can believe it the desserts are just as great as the sandwiches! Since it is so close by everyone should try to visit the Bakery before the end of the semester. A presto,
