Saturday Night - Late Night - Safe Night

Bengal Bus is starting a new program this week.  The Safe Rider shuttle starts SATURDAY!! This FREE shuttle service will run from 10pm-2am taking students to various late night attractions in the Eagle Rock area. The shuttle will go to 3 general areas, the area on Colorado near the Black Boar, the Eagle Rock Blvd. area near All Star lanes, and the York area near The York. Safe Rider will provide free transportation to and from these locations with a few simple rules:
  • No food/alcohol/drugs in the van
  • Riders must be respectful to the driver AND the van (if not the driver has the right to refuse transportation in which case you can always call campus safety or a cab for a ride)
  • No residential destinations
  • Riders MUST be ready to head back to Oxy by 1:30am if they want a ride back.
The drivers are instructed to be back at Oxy no later than 2am, which is the time most of these establishments close anyway, so make sure that you call them in time to get a ride back (323) 983-1902. This is an exciting new service from Bengal Bus.  For more information email bus@oxy.edu.
