After the week of hell...
As you may or may not know, this past week was our Finals week. That is the week we all dread because it is when our knowledge gets tested. Not only do we have exams, but some of us, like myself, had a final essay (5-7 pages) as well as a 12-page Research Proposal due. So as you can see it was hell for me. After staying up all night working on these papers I finally got the chance to nap and study for my back to back Psychology finals. Ahh yes I was the lucky one to get a Perception (Psych) test followed by a Research Methods for Psych exam. But what kept me going was the fact that after those exams, my summer vacation was officially a go! So now all I have to do is relax and…PACK. Packing can sometimes be fun, but not when you have to dust off the furniture, vacuum the room, and clean the bathroom. I am now behind on all those and have to check out before 10am tomorrow. Woohoo! (sarcasm). But any who, my sophomore year has ended and now I’m going to be a junior (which is one year closer to become an adult :/). One thing I dread about the end of the school year is saying goodbye to my wonderful senior friends who I am truly going to miss. I hope they visit us here at Oxy someday, but I wish them the best in their future (Congrats Class of 2011!!). Well I wish you all the best summer vacations and hope to meet you in the fall! Until next time :) -Marilyn
