Hi blogosphere, Fall Break is just about to end, which is sad, but less sad is that that means all my friends are coming home to Oxy! Yay! I spent my fall break sleeping, reading, sleeping, going to the beach, sleeping, and working. One of the BEST BEST BEST parts of fall break this year was that NCIS (literally my all time favorite TV show, and yes, I do know I'm the only person under the age of 45 who watches it religiously) filmed on campus!!! The team was in the field catching a bad guy who stuck a bomb under a school bus full of little girls wearing cute school uniforms. This is my girlfriend and me with the star of the show, Mark Harmon, who plays Leroy Jethro Gibbs. He's extremely nice in person, he was talking to all the adoring fans!!
Above is us again with the ridiculously sexy Michael Weatherly who plays Agent Tony DiNozzo. He really is that good looking and suave in person. Did I really just say suave?
In other news, my internship took me to Screamfest 2011, which is at the Grauman Chinese Theater this year. I HATE horror films and nearly peed myself just flipping through the film festival brochure (my mom would hate that. Ladies do not pee themselves), but my firm represented the biggest film there and it was absolute chaos! The show oversold and sold out so quickly that there was pandemonium about who was going to get in and whether it would become standing room only. Luckily the drama was over as soon as everybody got into their seats in the theater and the movie started. I met one of the actors who died in a particularly gruesome way and haven't been able to look at him the same since!
Other than work, sleep, and tanning, I did get some shopping in. I will admit that I chose Oxy over other schools because it's in the city, and that means shopping everywhere!! There's great shopping to be found even in neighborhoods nearby, so you definitely don't have to hike all the way to downtown or West LA to find great stuff! Maybe I'll do a post on shopping next time!! Do you see all these exclamation points? Clearly shopping gets me hopped up like nothing else can (um, except the stars of NCIS).
