David takes pictures and time to study
Like Chris (the student below me) I am also studying in Hong Kong this semester. Above is a panoramic photo that I took from the roof of my dorm here at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. While the architecture on campus is unfortunately dated the surrounding scenery is quite pretty. The campus is almost entirely surrounded by Tolo Harbour, the body of water pictured above. I've been busy, going on trips, exploring the city, eating lots of great food and taking a lot of photos. Check out my blog so see what I've been eating, what I've been up to and what I've been photographing. The "study" part of the term study abroad began to rear it's ugly head recently. Right now it's mid-term-exam time here in the fragrant harbour, so I am busy preparing for the three tests that I have over the next 7 days: one Chinese oral exam, one Chinese written exam and an accounting exam. Wish me luck! David is a junior Economics major, has a penchant for good design and can discern the difference between Hong Kong style and Taiwanese style milk tea.
