A Doll's House
Blogger: Marisha Thakker
It's been a long, LONG week. I had two papers due, and although they were super fun to do, they still ate into my sleep time; so I'm really glad the weekend is here! One of my assignment, for my Sustainable Development class, was to research a green urbanism project anywhere in the world and then write a case study about it--so I kind of felt like Sherlock Holmes xP. Then, for my Politics 101 class I had to write a congressional district profile. I just finished the first book of the Hunger Games, so I turned the report into a report I was going to present about my district at the 75th Annual Hunger Games. It made the research a lot more fun, and it probably made my paper a lot more entertaining to read :] The first two weeks after Spring Break always feel insanely busy, and I'm glad I have a breather before we hit finals. I know, I know--everyone is saying finals are a month away, but that's just four weeks and I need to get started! I decided to unwind with some hot chocolate and a blogpost first..
I just got back from watching an absolutely incredible rendition of A Doll's House by the theater department. It is one of my favorite Ibsen plays of all time and I had forgotten how powerful actually watching the play (as opposed to just reading it) can be.
I'm also getting back into photography this week which should be really calming; if not, there is always Yoga Club.
More from me later, for now- bed :]
