Hello Oxy, friends, and... homework?

It has barely been the first week of school and there is already a lot to do. I felt that this first week was never ending, maybe because we usually start on a Wednesday as opposed to a Monday. But classes went great and I have a new job! I am currently working at the on-campus daycare center, and I am in love with the kids there! They are so sweet, cute, and energetic! My first day was amazing; I got to play with the kids, serve them lunch, and just interact with them. They are adorable! I am very excited to return to work this week. It’s kind of like a stress reliever in a way and I need that because in a week I am going to be very stressed… why? Oh, because Formal Recruitment is just around the corner for us Greeks. This is the week where all are welcomed to take a look inside the Greek life on campus. At the end of the week the sororities and fraternities welcome their new pledges that will eventually become a part of their growing families. It will be a very long week, but will pay off in the end. Aside from this week being stressful, it was also fun because I finally turned 21. My actually birthday was chill and relaxing, because it was a Thursday, but then Friday we went all out. Love my friends for celebrating my birthday with me! Well, now off to do homework.
