lisboa, sintra, alameda--portugal
hola from southern spain, granada. one of the many pleasures of studying abroad in europe is the ability to travel. ive never been to this continent, so i am taking full advantage of the relatively inexpensive ticket prices and busing/flying all about. my first trip outside of the country was to lisbon, portugal. -twelve hour over-night bus from granada to sevilla to lisbon - terrific hostel, wonderful people -snuck into a museum in the interest of our lowly budget - went to belem for tasty treats - found ourselves at an english pub - went to sintra, a city/town/mountain made for the portuguese nobility (castle upon palace upon mansion) - photographed great street art - went to the other side of the river to see the monument of jesucristo - rode a street cart - got lost a lot - learned a bit of portuguese - went to a jazz bar with classic porto. enjoy the photos!
