Spring Break 2011!

Hello all! This past week, while most of the Oxy community was at home or off on some sort of adventure, I was here in Eagle Rock! I was pretty much the only person in my dorm, or so it felt. We had ten softball games over the course of the ten days. We won six of the ten games including our first away victory! Our coaches were nice enough to give us Monday and Wednesday off (we had games Tuesday & Thursday in addition to the weekends). On Wednesday most of the team headed to Huntington Beach where we rested, did some homework, and played some beach volleyball. I, of course, got sunburned (this is not a rare occurrence in my life...) but it was really fun! I also got to go out to dinner a few times over the week with some of the baseball players (one of the few other teams still on campus). We went to IHOP, Chipotle, Mulberry Street Pizzeria #2, and Spitz. I have to say I really liked Spitz! I have a friend who works there so now that I know I like it I plan on visiting often :) I also watched The Social Network as part of my Econ extra credit assignment. Now it's back to the real world with classes and homework, but summer seems so close! It's really a little bittersweet, I'm not sure I'm ready to be a sophomore!
