summer 2011: disclaimer: i am from the LA area, so my activities are centered here.  but even if you are from far away, staying in LA over the summer is something a lot of students pursue.  with research, internships, fellowships, grants, or simply a job, you can live in eagle rock and have access to all the wonders los angeles has to offer. :) 1. beach with friends 2. work (an effort to stop asking mom for $$) 3. eagle rock farmers market
