Hi everybody! It's kind of a wet, gray Friday here in Eagle Rock, but it is Friday nonetheless! This week was V-Week, and tonight is The Vagina Monologues. My friends and I are planning to attend the show. V-Week promotes ending violence against women, and this year they introduced The Penis Chronicles as well. I've been busy with sorority business this week too. Pledging is a process, but I am so excited and I know I made the right choice. We're also coming up on midterms in the next few weeks, so we've started studying. I have a midterm in my Introduction to Media Studies class on Tuesday about the methods of studying media; modernist, avant-garde, and futurist media; and the development of public relations and propaganda. It's really interesting subject matter, but it's brand new for me and as such I will be studying this weekend! Have a great President's Day weekend everyone! Shout out to Alexis Greco, another blogger for the Admissions blog, who is in my LA Politics class and represented the Homeowner's Association with me today during our budget simulation.
