Winter (?) break in Singapore

My goodness, it's been a while. Winter break is almost over! Although I want more time to sleep and listen to music and watch movies, I am really excited to be coming back to Oxy for the Spring Semester. My class schedule for next semester is great - I have no morning classes so late nights will be a little easier to endure knowing that my day starts a little later than it did last semester. These are my classes: MWF 12:30 - 1:25 PM - Urban Fictions: The Modern City in Literature and Other Arts MWF 2:30 - 3:25 PM - Beginning French II MWF 3:30 - 4:25 PM - Statistics 146 TR 5:00 - 6:30 PM - Stupidity 180 R 1:30 - 2:55 PM - Statistics Lab I'm psyched especially for Stupidity and Urban Fictions because I'm sure Stupidity will challenge me mentally and Urban Fictions will involve a lot of media work. It was really great to get these 5 weeks to visit my family and friends in Singapore. Most of my friends go to college in the States, so they all converged upon Singapore for the break, making for a lot of exciting reunions. However, the break is faaaaaaaaaaaar too long to be away from Oxy and all my friends there. Oovoo has certainly helped in that regard, as we can group chat with as many as 5 other people for free! I really miss my friends and cannot wait till this weekend, where I make another 22-hour trek from Singapore, through Tokyo and finally to LAX. Hope the holidays treated you well, Aseem
