Work overload!

Now that the semester is winding down, professors tend to load students with a lot of work before Thanksgiving Break. One possibility is the fact that after Thanksgiving Break we only have two more weeks until finals and then Winter Break! Exciting huh? Well with homework and work, I have also been quite involved in Greek Week as well as with Delta (the sorority I am in). Greek Week was intense, but fun. One of the events I found fun was Greek Wars where a group of six Greek members from each organization battled it out, mafia style. Each member from the team was given a squirt gun and they had to kill other members from different Greek organizations to get points. The war went on throughout the whole week as well as the different events we could participate to receive points. The organization with the most points wins overall Greek organization. At the end of the week, we were all burned out and so to let loose we had a Greek Formal where the winner would be announced. It turned out that Phi Kappa Psi fraternity won first place with Delta Omicron Tau (yay!) came in second, and Alpha Lambda Phi Alpha came in third, but we were all winners! It was truly a fun week! The following week a lot of organizations had their Initiation Week so that was more work to be done. Thankfully it will be over tonight and we can enjoy each other’s presence. After those two eventful weeks, we are all ready for a break and good thing Thanksgiving is just around the corner! The only thing stopping me from that break is two essays, two drawings (for my drawing class) and a midterm exam (the day before break!). But after that we get a much needed break! Winter Break is so close, which is my favorite because Christmas is my favorite holiday, so now we just have to keep going, we are almost there! Hope you guys have a great Thanksgiving Break!
