"What is the recipe for the sauce used for stir fry to order? Also what kind of noodles do you use?"
"Oxy's Own" sauce for stir fry to order (offered Mondays and Wednesdays at lunch in the Marketplace during the academic year, and occasionally during the summer) contains Organic/Gluten Free Tamari Soy Sauce, Fresh Ginger, Fresh Shallots, Brown Sugar, Rice Vinegar & Garlic. We usually use Yakisoba (wheat) noodles, but sometimes change it up and use Buckwheat Noodles. We also offer rice noodles for our GF customers.

We're so glad you enjoyed this meal! Unfortunately given our larger crowds in July, we don't have sufficient labor resources to put together hundreds of shrimp kabobs! Maybe in August ;-)

Yes! Just ask at the grill station and the cook there will prepare egg whites for you.
"Where is the food for vegetarians during the summer. I have a summer meal plan and I am a vegetarian and I don't think I have gotten enough protein the past two weeks. I cannot survive on vegetables. Please bring back the tofu and add more substitute meat. Also, please stop serving so much fried food. I know there are lots of kids here but its disgusting. The food at the marketplace was really good for the first week or two and has really gone downhill in the last week or so. Please have more meatless protein rich options. Nacho cheese sauce does not count."
We hear you, and we've made some changes. You are correct that large youth groups mean more "kid food". The week of June 30 we also had the largest counts of the summer, which meant food had to be easy to prepare and serve. Counts have leveled off now, and we're bringing back more of the tofu and meat substitutes. Check out this week's menu and look for vegan favorites such as Lettuce Wraps with Soy Crumbles, Coconut Tofu, Soyrizo Sopes and Veggie and Soy Cheese Philly.
