On Campus Recruitment

The CDC administers a modest recruitment program that annually hosts employers, volunteer programs, and graduate schools interested in retaining students.

While trends are generally moving away from interviewing on-campus, the for-profit sector, Term of Service Programs, and some non-profit entities may conduct on-campus recruiting depending on their hiring needs.

Employers visit Occidental in both fall and spring semesters. The CDC advertises opportunities through a variety of media. Students seeking employment should regularly check TIGERlink and the CDC calendar to be apprised of recruitment programs and opportunities and to assure they have appropriate time to prepare documents to apply.

Whether you are interviewing on- or off-campus, students who participate in the CDC recruitment program are representing the department and the institution and must adhere to the Policies and Guidelines for On- and Off-Campus Recruitment.
