Tiger Pride: Story Swett P’ 14
I would like to support Oxy students by offering individual mentoring .
Undergraduate: Bachelor of Fine Arts, California State University-Fullerton with an emphasis on Environmental Design
Graduate: Master of Architecture, University of Colorado, Denver
I pursued my curiosity and diverse personal interests while strategically exploring employment opportunities. I worked in the design arts field throughout my schooling and followed pathway that began with the general design interests and became increasingly targeted towards architecture. I sought environments that inspire with exposure to the people and situations that understand excellence and reward it.
The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) is a government agency that owns, manages and develops facilities ranging from federal buildings, courthouses, ports of entry and custom houses. As Regional Chief Architect for the Northwest/Arctic of the GSA, I am responsible for programs that assure the design quality, performance and sustainability of the workplaces. I also manage our valuable cultural assets of the federal government, including our historic preservation program, our fine art collection and manage commissions for site-specific public artworks for our new facilities.
I would like to support Oxy students by offering individual mentoring opportunities and presentations that could serve to inspire others in their achievements.
