Celestina Castillo 

 Prior to joining the CCBL, Celestina  was a community partner primarily through the CCBL founded Northeast Education Strategy Group and later as a supervisor and mentor for Occidental students regarding community projects. Celestina earned her BA in History at Pomona College and a MS in Urban Policy Analysis and Management at New School University in New York. She has worked with a wide range of community based organizations focused on education, community and workforce development, advocacy and organizing. At the the Los Angeles County Children’s Planning Council she worked with a number of community based service organizations, schools and County Departments to integrate community organizing principles and practices into service delivery models.
