iPad Studio Session: Garage Band

Wednesday, February 29th, 12:30 - 3:30 with refreshments

The Studio Session on GarageBand is a hands-on engagement in the production of multi-track music recordings using the iPad. With instruments and gadgets, the CDLR will transform into a multi-station audio recording studio. We will use the iPad to record physical and software instruments and to mix the tracks into a song. All faculty, students, and sound-makers, without or without previous experience in audio performance/production, are welcome to attend. We encourage you to stay the entire time; but drop in if you can.

This Studio Session is the first event of our “Year of Collective Learning through Critical Making + Code” designed to encourage the Oxy community to experiment with technology in ways that go beyond the end-user / consumer roles.
