Online and in print, we try to keep the Oxy community and the wider world informed about what’s going on at Oxy – and why.
We help run the Oxy website (including the events calendar), Facebook, and Twitter. We publish Occidental Magazine and the College's annual report. We get the word out via email, video, and photography. We pitch stories to reporters, and answer their questions.
We promote Oxy's reputation and visibility through strategic marketing, branding and visual identity, and market research. We work closely with members of the campus community to develop marketing and communications strategies that meet their goals and best represent the Occidental brand.
When there’s an emergency, we make sure everyone knows what’s going on – and what’s coming next. We play a significant role in Oxy’s effort to be an active member of the larger community to which we belong.
