First Generation Program

Partners in Excellence (PIE) is an initiative designed for first generation students at Occidental College. The institution applauds individuals who are the first in their family to pursue an advanced degree. As such, we would like to be sure these students are supported with this endeavor by connecting them to critical campus resources and key campus community members who can aid them in their success. Through the combination of regular faculty, staff, and student mentor support, PIE participants will gain the skills and knowledge to be well-rounded, thriving students at Occidental.
