No classes will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 27 through Friday, Nov. 29 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
Administrative offices including the Admission Office will be open on Wednesday, Nov. 27, but will be closed on Thursday and Friday. There will be no Admission tours on Saturday, Nov. 30. Classes will resume on Monday, Dec. 2.

Thanksgiving Day of Service
The Office of Community Engagement presents the first annual Thanksfiving Day of Service. We will be participating in One Incredible Family Inc.'s 20th Annual Homeless Feeding/Banner Creation. Volunteers work together to cook and deliver meals to homeless shelters around Los Angeles and create 20 artistic banners to be delivered with the food!

From Perilous to Potable: Making Water Safe to Drink
Join the students of CSP-8 as they explore, compare, and test different methods used to purify water.
This demonstration of different methods for purifying water allows for a critical examinination of the feasibility of the various methods available for poor or water-stressed societies to implement. We will challenge you with this question: Which “purified” sample are you willing to drink?

Screening of "Bread & Roses"
Presented by the Politics Department as part of the weekly film series for Politics 101.
Adrien Brody stars as Sam Shapiro, an idealistic organizer trying to help immigrant janitors build a union. Brody’s character is based on the real life Jono Shaffer, an organizer with the “Justice for Janitors” campaign among janitors working in downtown Los Angeles office buildings. Shaffer will be speaking after the film.
