Tickets will be sold in quad the week preceding and at the door the night of the event All proceeds will help send the team to New York!
Top 4 highest-scoring poets (and one alternate) will qualify for Occidental's slam team, which will represent Occidental at CUPSI in New York this April.
Poets will need 2 original poems, each of 3 minutes length or less. No props or music allowed.
E-mail poets@oxy.edu to reserve your spot soon! -- competitors will be allowed to sign up at the slam, but priority will be given to poets who e-mailed in advance. Of course, you can also feel free to e-mail us with questions or concerns.
