Since President Fidel Castro's transition from power in 2011, Cuba is arguably undergoing the most important social, economic and political transformation since the 1959 Cuban Revolution. The lecture will discuss current reforms in Cuba and future prospects for US-Cuban relations over the next decade. 
 
Prof. Miranda is a Researcher at the Instituto de FilosofĂ­a in Havana and Visiting Professor/Director of the Cuba Semester Program at the College of Charleston in Charleston, SC.
