Oxy Cinematheque: "Pink Floyd’s: The Wall" Screening and Discussion
As the semester winds down, there are a number of arts and media campus events and opportunities we encourage students to attend.
Oxy Cinematheque: Pink Floyd’s: The Wall (1982), moderated by student presenters and Prof. Laskin.
Pink Floyd's: The Wall is a live action film with an interweaving of animation by political cartoonist Gerald Scarfe. The screenplay and music, by Roger Waters, utilizes a political and social commentary of the ongoing generational effects of WWII to deliver and express the character and fostering of isolation within a societal context.
