Join us for "Making Writing: Books & Projects"... A talk and discussion with Visiting Artist and Scholar Johanna Drucker. Ms. Drucker is the Martin and Bernard Breslauer Professor of Bibliographical Studies in UCLA’s Department of Information Studies. She has written and lectured widely on topics related to the history of the book & letterforms, experimental poetry & typography, and the digital humanities. She has authored numerous volumes of scholarly writing, including The Century of Artists’ Books, The Alphabetic Labyrinth, SpecLab: Digital Aesthetics and Speculative Computing and most recently she co-wrote Digital Humanities. 
 
In addition to her scholarly work, Drucker is a book artist and writer whose works often make use of experimental typography.
