Military Visuality and the Work of Art Symposium
Bringing together a wide array of media theorists and artists, this symposium will explore artistic interventions into the visual culture of militarism.

James Bridle is a writer, artist, publisher and technologist based in London, UK. His work covers the intersection of literature, culture and the network. He has written for WIRED, ICON, Domus, Cabinet, the Atlantic.
Mary Beth Heffernan, Associate Professor, Art History and the Visual Arts, Occidental College.
Adam Schrag, Ph. D., Assistant Professor of Communication in Media & Film Studies, Fresno Pacific University.
Alex Rivera is a digital media artist and filmmaker. His work has won multiple awards at the Sundance Film Festival and has been screened at The Berlin International Film Festival, the Museum of Modern Art, The Guggenheim, The Getty, Lincoln Center, PBS, Telluride, and other international venues.

Joseph DeLappe is an artist and Professor in the Department of Art at the University of Nevada where he directs the Digital Media program.
