Peggy A. Farrell graduated from Occidental College in June 1994 with an A.B.A. in Politics and a Minor in Women's Studies. She received her Juris Doctor from the City University of New York School of Law at Queens College (CUNY) in 1999, a law school dedicated to training public interest lawyers. She has worked on employment discrimination, police misconduct, HIV/AIDS legal matters, and other civil rights issues.
