Braun Room in the Library
"Paintings/Collages & Unique Books" is an exhibition of selected works by artist Austin Straus currently presented in Artists' Alley on the Main floor of the Library. These works are a small sampling of Straus' output spanning more than 50 years. He has been experimenting with burning techniques since childhood, techniques that produce "sun-etched" burn books.  Straus states, "I love the feeling of multi-layered aerial views which suggest maps, roads, veins and arteries, and the inner complexity of the brain and mind."
Join us for a talk with Austin Straus about his work and exhibit.
Free and open to the public.  This is a *CSP99 event.
