Zhao Wenshu on Environmental Literature in China
You are invited to attend a lecture by Dr. Zhao Wenshu, Professor and Chair of the English Department at Nanjing University in China. His talk is entitled "Teaching and Studying Environmental Literature in China."

Prof. Zhao is currently a Fulbright Scholar at the University of Illinois. He has published extensively on Chinese transnationalism, modern China, and environmental studies, including Harmony and Variation: Changing Cultural Orientations in Chinese American Literature (Nankai University Press, 2009) and “China’s Peaceful Rise: A Cultural Alternative” (Boundary 2, 2006). He would also like to use the opportunity to meet with Oxy faculty/students to discuss possibilities for joint teaching/research in environmental studies in Nanjing/China.
