Women Solving the Conflict - Israeli Palestinian Women Activists
Palestinian activist Malaka Samara and Israeli activist Elanit Green from OneVoice will speak about their work mobilizing the masses in their respective communities to call for a two-state solution.
A OneVoice event wouldn't be complete without our famous baklava of course!

Jon Wiener - "How We Forgot the Cold War"
Jon Wiener is a professor of History at UC Irvine, a contributing editor to The Nation, and host of an afternoon drive-time interview show on KPFK.
His latest book is How We Forgot the Cold War: A Historical Journey Across America (Univ. of Calif. Press, 2012). He is the author of five other books, including Gimme Some Truth: The John Lennon FBI Files, which recounts his experiences as a plaintiff in a Freedom of Information lawsuit against the FBI. His writing has also appeared in The New York TImes Magazine, the New Republic, and the Los Angeles Times.
