Assistant Professor, Art and Art History

Education: B.A., University of Virginia; M.A., Ph.D. Pennsylvania State University

She specializes in U.S. colonial/post-colonial urbanism and community development in the Pacific. Her current research focuses on the architecture of public and militarized spaces within the region. Her work has been supported by the East-West Center at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, the Institute for the Arts and Humanities at The Pennsylvania State University, and the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. At Occidental, she teaches courses in architectural history and urban design.
