Professor Roy Salgado teaches Human Physiology, Exercise Physiology and Introduction to Kinesiology. His research focus includes enhancing sports performance and environmental physiology. He is interested in how the human body adapts to stressors such as high altitude and heat. Specifically, he is looking at cross-tolerance model investigating the effects of heat acclimation on exercise capacity at high altitude.
