As part of the financial aid review process our office reviews FAFSA applications and verifies data with supporting tax documents that have been submitted to our office. It is routine for us to verify the data elements and make corrections to ensure accurate reporting to determine the student's eligibility for financial aid.

Once we make corrections, we submit these corrections to the Department of Education, at which point the student and parent are notified about FAFSA corrections.

The financial aid award you receive has already taken into consideration all FAFSA corrections. It is useful to review the corrections we have made, but please be aware FAFSA corrections will not impact your financial aid award.
