Calling all painters!!
The Green Bean is hosting a mural design competition!
What: We are looking for an artist to design a mural for the Green Bean to be installed above the drink counter.
When: The mural will be installed in the Green Bean after finals, during senior week.
Requirements:
1) The phrase “The Green Bean” or “The Green Bean Coffee Lounge” must be the main focus of the mural.
2) Aspects of the Green Bean mission statement must be incorporated.
3) No offensive imagery/words/etc.
4) No political or religious statements.
5) The painting can use a maximum of 4 colors (...

Come celebrate our 3rd Birthday!
In honor of the Green Bean’s 3rd birthday, we will be giving out free slices of cake to the first 36 people who order a drink from 7:30pm-8:30pm tonight! We will have triple chocolate mousse, chocolate raspberry and oreo cheesecake so be sure to come celebrate our birthday with us!

If you are interested in performing please fill out the form below. All experience levels are encouraged to perform. Please keep all pieces to a maximum length of 4 minutes. We want to say "welcome" in style. Check out these special treats we ordered up just for Orientation Week.
In addition to our usual tasty treats, the Green Bean Coffee Lounge will be selling special pastries to celebrate Orientation Week! Stop by to visit us in the Johnson Student Center off Branca Patio starting Saturday. We'll have special hours during Orientation as well but will begin regular operation on Wednesday with the first day of classes.

This Friday, May 1st we will be closing early. We are having a staff appreciation gathering and would like for all of our employees to attend! Instead of closing at 4 we will be closing at 1pm. To make up for this we're opening early on Sunday! The Green Bean will be officially open at 10:30am Sunday, May 6th. Good luck with finals!! :-D

Come check out all the new bottled drinks we've got in the GB. The back fridge has been spiced up with Stewart's and Jones sodas. The front fridge no longer has FRS Energy Drinks, BUT we have replaced them with Steaz :-D . Come check them out and let us know what you think!!!
