International Programs Staff
Ms. Craggs earned a Masters in International Education from the American University, Washington, D.C. Since 1989, she has served in international higher education including at the joint campus of Willamette University/Tokyo International University of America, Cornell University, Occidental College, the Academy for Educational Development (now FHI 360) and Seattle University. From 2012-2014 Robin served on the Board of Directors of the Forum on Education Abroad, the organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Justice and Federal Trade Commission for standards development for the education abroad field. She occasionally presents at professional meetings (NAFSA, CIEE, IES, etc.). Her leadership has resulted in over $3.2 million in foundation (Mellon, Irvine, Luce) and philanthropic support for international initiatives in higher education. She studied abroad in Japan and served as a United States Peace Corps Volunteer in Papua New Guinea. Robin earned her BA in International Studies at Willamette University.
Marisa Grover Mofford
Ms. Mofford grew up abroad in Spain, Brazil, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador and Chile. These global nomad roots, combined with her Masters in Intercultural Relations (University of the Pacific expected 2016) inspire her work with study abroad and international students. Marisa is the College's Primary Designated School Official for F-1 student visas and international student experience. In addition to study abroad advising, Marisa administers Occidental's United Nations Program, and manages exchange and visiting student programs.
Julie Kimiko Santos
Ms. Santos earned a Master's degree in International Education from New York University. Before coming to Occidental, she held positions at New York University and Loyola Marymount University's study abroad offices. She is fluent in Spanish and has studied abroad in Chile. Ms. Santos spent two years in Japan as part of the Japanese Teaching Exchange (JET) program. During graduate school, she completed a social and education reform course in South Africa. She holds Bachelor's degrees in International Relations and Spanish from UC Davis
Ms. Wui earned a Master’s degree in International Educational Development from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA. Her study focused on designing curriculum for language learners in the out-of-school context. During her study she also analyzed higher education policy in developing countries. Before joining Oxy, June worked in the ESL field, editing curriculum for English language learners and advising on university pathway programs. She also worked for various education-focused non-profit organizations, utilizing her strength in graphic design and communication development. June was born in Seoul and speaks fluent Korean. June holds her BA in Political Science from University of California, Berkeley.
