Marisa Grover Mofford

These global nomad roots, combined with her Masters in Intercultural Relations (University of the Pacific expected 2016) inspire her work with study abroad and international students. In addition to study abroad advising, Marisa administers Occidental's United Nations Program, and manages exchange and visiting student programs.
Ms. Moore designs, implements and manages application and pre-departure processes; maintains student records; and coordinates systematic communication with overseas partners and on-campus. She monitors study abroad finances and student budgets; maintains the website; hires and oversees Student Peer Advisors. Mandy's work is informed by her undergraduate study abroad in Mexico, her MFA in Creative Writing, and previous experiences as an environmental scientist and writer.
