Production Company Seeks Applicants for Spring Positions

Practical Pictures is looking for spring interns (unpaid) starting January. This is a very unique internship opportunity – you won’t be a gopher/copy monkey here. Hands-on interfacing with the producer bosses in a small company means you’ll need some experience (phones, computers) but is also a strong draw to this position – your opinion will be welcome. Film 44 Seeks Intern Help for Upcoming Productions

Film 44 is seeking interns for the winter and spring while we are prepping 1-2 pilots and ramping up two films. Duties include errands, office management, coffee, and script/book coverage. Candidates should be eligible for college credit and have a car. Interns will have the opportunity to be actively involved with both television and features and interface with executives. Thunder Road Pictures seeks sharp, creative interns who are passionate about Film and TV. Excellent analytical reading and writing skills necessary, as coverage is expected regularly. General office tasks and research/notes for projects in development occur often. We recognize and reward talent and give our interns an opportunity for creative input. Our internship program teaches interns the steps taken to develop and produce feature films and television series in a fun and outgoing work environment. Hollywood based company looking for part-time editing interns for a feature documentary on Swing dancing (swingthedoc.com). Main duties will include logging and transcoding footage, transcribing interviews, editing short videos for our website and Youtube channel. All work to be done on Final Cut Pro. Experience with story and characters is a plus, as is knowledge of web design and social media. Must have a positive attitude and a good work ethic. Prior internship experience preferred, but not required. Duties could include, but not limited to, answering phones, coverage, and project research.
