Transportation

The standard Oxy policy is that anyone driving anyone but themselves must be registered as a designated driver, even if using their own vehicle.

Occidental College does not provide insurance for vehicles. The only covered vehicles are Oxy vehicles (Bengal Buses and one passenger car) through Facilities Management or the Zip Car Program.

Unless you are a designated driver and you have filled out the proper forms for your shoot, you may not transport cast and/or crew. If you are shooting off-campus, either use a designated driver, or ask everyone to meet you at the location. The process for becoming a designated driver takes some time, so please plan accordingly.
