OxyEngage is a pre-orientation program that introduces incoming students to the vibrant city of Los Angeles. Over three days, upperclassmen facilitators lead trips to experience culture, film, food, nature, social justice, the urban environment, and much more! On an OxyEngage trip you will make fast friends, get to know your surrounding area, and find some stunning places you will want to return to time and time again. The 2017 OxyEngage program will take place August 21 - 23.
OxyEngage is a pre-orientation program for students only; there is no family orientation during OxyEngage. As the content and goals of the programs are different yet compelmentary, all participants of OxyEngage are required to also participate in New Student Orientation (August 24 - 29). Family members are welcome to participate in Family Orientation from August 24-26. Schedules will be shared in early June.
