Cultural Studies Program (CSP) Seminar Preferences
Registration for your fall CSP course is open from June 21 to July 1. Explore the fall CSP course offerings including the California Environment Semester and Revolutions: Africa and Beyond. CSP enrollment is limited. Make sure to register early for a better chance at your top choice course. (CSP registration opens at 8am Pacific Time on June 21.)

Placement exams for calculus, chemistry, language and music theory classes are part of the Orientation process. A schedule of placement exams will be included in the Orientation materials you will receive when you arrive in August.
Clearance is the process by which students officially enroll each semester. Review and resolve any holds that may have. Completion of the clearance process acknowledges that you are on campus and have resolved all departmental issues related to your enrollment.

The process for registration relies on both the web and on one-to-one communication between students, faculty and administration. The registration process starts with advising. All first- and second-year students, prior to declaring a major, meet with an advisor in the Advising Center.
