What is ASOC? ASOC is YOU.
Associated Students of Occidental College (ASOC) is for the students! Every student paying student fees is a member of the ASOC. ASOC is governed by the Senate and Honor Board. Additionally, ASOC offers student services, such as Student Activities Center, the La Encina yearbook, Bengal Bus, The Occidental Agency, Programming Board, the Occidental Weekly newspaper, CatAList tv, and KOXY radio station.

First Year Class Senator (2)
Honor Board Juror (2)
Check out the ASOC Constitution for job descriptions. All currently enrolled students with at least a 2.4 GPA (2.8 GPA for Vice Presidents) who are not on academic or displinary probation are eligible to run for an ASOC position. For Vice President for Finance, eligible candidates must have previously served at least 1 term on Senate. For Class Senator positions, eligible candidates must be students in their respective class.
TO RUN FOR OFFICE:
All candidates for office must submit a Campus Petition (for Vice Presidents, Honor Board) or Class Petition (for Class Senators) to the ASOC President's Mailbox (located inside the OSL office) by 5:00 p.m., August 29, 2014. All candidates must also attend a mandatory candidate meeting, held at 6:00 p.m., August 29 in the Studenmund Room located in the Johnson Student Center.

September 5, 12:30 PM: Results announced during lunch (JSC Quad)
September 5-6: Senate Retreat (MANDATORY FOR NEWLY ELECTED SENATORS)
