9/11 Day of Service & Remembrance

Students debriefing during 9/11 Service Day.

Marking the anniversary of September 11th, the Occidental community will engage in various activities in honor of National Service and Remembrance Day.  Occidental is also part of city-wide coalition, L.A. Remembers, made of up agencies who are planning service and commemoration activities throughout the Los Angeles Area.  

Schedule
September 8th, 2012

8:30 am: Check in
9:00 am: Community art project and opening welcome
9:30 am: Depart for project site
10:00 am - 1:30 pm: Work with Young Foks Urban Farmers at Los Angeles Leadership Academy
1:30 - 2:00 pm: Community Reflection
2:00 pm: Return to campus
