New Student Orientation
August 21-26, 2015
All new students (First-Year, Transfer, International*, Exchange* and Visiting Students*) are required to attend New Student Orientation which begins with move-in on Friday, August 21 at 8 am. During Orientation, students will have the opportunity to register for classes, meet with faculty, learn about campus resources, discuss important issues related to student life, make new friends, and get settled. The 2015 Tentative New Student Orientation schedule At-A-Glance can be found here. As all new students are expected to attend, registration is not required for new student orientation.
August 21-23, 2015
We hope you will join us for this short, yet very important orientation program. During this 2-1/2 day event, you will receive information regarding Oxy and the community surrounding it. While most of the family sessions are separate from student session, you will have the opportunity to spend some free time with your student, helping them get settled on campus. The Family Program runs from approximately 8 am - 8 pm on Friday, 9 am to 4 pm on Saturday, and 9:30 am to 3 pm on Sunday. For your information, the 2015 Tentative Family Orientation At-A-Glance Schedule can be be reviewed here.
