OxyEngage students backpacking through Angeles National Forest

Crystal Cove ($500)

Crystal Cove (El Moro Canyon) is located near the coastline of Laguna and Newport Beach. The state park has 3.2 miles of beach and 2,400 acres of undeveloped woodland. The beach is popular with surfers, kayaking and swimmers. Nearby are bike trails that challenge all levels in riding but offer a beautiful view of the coastline.

Refugio State Beach, Santa Barbara ($500)

Refugio State Beach is beautifully surrounded by palm trees and is located 20 miles away from Santa Barbara's historic downtown.  This has been the most popular OxyEngage trip for 5 years running because of the variety of beach activities: surfing, kayaking, and rock climbing.  At no other location can you sleep so close to the ocean.  Enjoy those same ocean views while rock climbing the bluff at Point Dume.  There is also plenty of time for you to enjoy the sun, sand, and fresh air.
