Student Projects
Oxy students at the Western Psychological Association conference (2012)
Every day, our students contribute to the discovery and expansion of principles that make up the science of psychology
Besides helping to provide data as research study participants, our students have various opportunities to engage in cutting edge psychological research. Students can assist faculty in conducting studies about a host of topics ranging from X to Y. They can also use methodological / analytical skills (PSYC 200 & 201) gained in courses to develop their own independent projects, and to investigate applications of psychology in field settings (via Practicum and courses emphasizing Community Based Learning).
Below are examples of student research, from both independent and collaborative efforts.
- Student projects completed within Occidental's Summer Research program.
- Lab studies??
- Honors Thesis Projects
We are also proud to note that our alumni have contributed to the production of meaningful psychological research, beyond their undergraduate career.
