People

Rebecca Dowling has worked at Occidental College since 2004. Starting as the Assistant to the Vice President for Administration and Finance, she was promoted to the Director of Risk Management in 2006, and she continues to serve as the VP's assistant.

Before coming to Oxy, Rebecca worked in various industries, including the construction, distribution, legal and horse-racing fields. She graduated from the University of LaVerne, and has lived in California for most of her life.
 
She staffs the Buildings and Grounds Committee and also serves on the following College Committees: Standing Committee for Emergency Preparedness, Campus Events Advisory Committee (CEAC), Campus Safety Committee, and was the Executive Producer of the "Oxy 101" Orientation Video.
