Authority
Students are responsible for knowing the following:
2. The authority for student discipline is ultimately vested in the Vice President of Student Affairs/Dean of Students ("VPSA"), who delegates this authority to the Office of Student Conduct. In some instances this authority may be delegated to students, College administrators, faculty members, committees, and organizations, according to this Code or in other policies or regulations as approved by the VPSA.
Separate disciplinary processes are established to adjudicate (a) sexual assault, (b) harassment, and (c) academic misconduct, e.g., plagiarism or cheating. Refer to the appropriate policies in this Student Handbook for more information. If and when a student is charged with one or more of the categories listed above, the College reserves the right to conduct one hearing to adjudicate all allegations.
